Aviocube — Privacy
Privacy notice
What happens to your details when you visit aviocube.com or write to us. In short: we use them to reply, analytics run only if you allow them, and we don't sell anything.
Who we are
Aviocube is run by Avioverse Ltd, based in Cyprus. Its company number and registered office will be published when Avioverse opens. Avioverse Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@aviocube.com.
This notice covers aviocube.com and its contact form only. Each app runs on its own website.
What we collect
- When you use the form: the topic you choose, the apps you tick, your name, your email address and your message. We also record when you sent it and the country the request came from. The country is worked out from your IP address; the address itself isn't added to your message.
- When you ask for early access: we also add your email address and each app you tick to our early-access list. avioverse.io's early-access form adds to the same list.
- When you email us: your email address, your message and anything you attach.
- When you visit: like any website, our hosting provider handles your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and keep the site secure. The form also uses your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent in a minute.
- If you allow analytics: the pages you view, how you move through them, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. See Cookies and analytics.
We use no advertising or cross-site tracking. Fonts and images come from aviocube.com itself.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and discuss any work you ask about. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and steps you ask us to take before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
- To tell you when an app opens, if you ask for early access. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we'll take you off the list.
- To keep the site and form secure and stop spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To understand how the site is used, if you allow analytics. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can change at any time.
We don't sell your details, use them for advertising or make automated decisions about you. You don't have to give us your details, but we need a name and an email address to reply.
Cookies and analytics
The site works without cookies. With your permission we also use analytics tools, to learn which pages people read and where the site gets in the way. They load only after you stamp them on the cookie card. You can change your choice at any time under Cookies at the bottom of every page.
- Google Analytics Google
- Counts visits and pages, and roughly where visitors come from. Cookies:
_gaand_ga_<id>, kept up to 2 years. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. - Microsoft Clarity Microsoft
- Heatmaps and session replays that show how pages are used. What you type into the contact form is masked. Cookies:
_clck(1 year) and_clsk(1 day); Microsoft also sets its own cookies, such asMUIDandCLID, on its domains. Replays are kept for 30 days, and a small sample and heatmaps for up to 9 months.
No analytics tools are switched on at the moment, so the site sets no cookies.
Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage for 12 months, so we don't ask on every page. It isn't a cookie and never reaches us.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site, delivers form messages to us by email, stores the early-access list in the European Union and forwards mail sent to hello@aviocube.com. It acts on our behalf.
- Google provides the Gmail inbox where those messages arrive.
- Google and Microsoft receive usage data from their analytics tools, only if you allow them.
All three companies are based in the United States, so your details may be processed there. All three are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection. We share your details with no one else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as we need to deal with them, and no more than two years after our last contact with you. If your enquiry leads to a contract, we keep what the law requires for business records.
- Early access requests: until the app opens and we've told you, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Analytics: up to 14 months in Google Analytics and up to 9 months in Microsoft Clarity.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@aviocube.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy (opens in a new tab)) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
